Presume if he has signed then it's subject to international clearance and/or a work permit, one or both of which are still outstanding.

I'm old school - I don't believe someone has signed until they're officially confirmed. So as far as I'm concerned he hasn't signed.

Well if he's signed now is he not away with iran? Possible announcement after international.

it would be reassuring to have a 3rd proper striker in place. by all accounts nobody has ever said this guy is a bad player or questioned his attitude.

injuries happen. if grabban or murphy became injured fans would become nervous.

also looking forward to having soudani back. competition is going to be fierce. I heard budgets and targets for January were already discussed weeks ago so there is a plan in place.

There's a good vibe about whats going on inside the CG if you listen to the players comments. When players are openly commenting in such a positive way then something right is going on. Even during the slowish start we had, no one has panicked (Apart from a few fans) and the momentum is slowly picking up. Jock, I started a thread a few weeks ago about what positions we might buy for in January. Its good to know that once again, the club are preparing well ahead. The January window will be vital for plugging a few squad holes, boosting certain areas and just improving the team if the right player comes along. And suddenly, we are an attractive proposition for any player.

The club is in good health. We have much to look forward to over the rest of the season and even if we dont make it this season, we are in a hell of a position to build.

Confirmation from Tails that the first request for a work permit was unsuccessful. So presumably it's now under appeal.

Rumour mill states he needs to play another game for Iran and then he should be granted his work permit.

Next Iran game is on 16th October...…..so if he plays then things should go through after that.  Maybe will be a Forest player by the end of October.

What a farce this transfer this has been. Surely he should have qualified prior to this game. I'm sure he's been ever present with iran.
I do like the look of this guy he can finish for sure, upgrade to bb?? Time will tell.
