Your Thoughts On The Current Nottingham Forest Manager

Yeah we get it, he's doing S**t. 

The idea that changing manager is somehow going to miraculously fix things unless we also brought in a load of new players though is the problem.

We only have half a team and that includes the likes of Yates who really shouldn't be in on merit right now.

Hughton making records as statistically one of our worst managers since Mr Megson. I do understand stability, and that’s what we have with Hughton, but that means relegation battle. We cannot stick with a manager, just cos he has two promotions on his CV (so did Megson) A new manager needs to be appointed as soon as possible and it needs to be a manager, with a better football philosophy, better man management to get the best out of the players we have, someone  we can all just get behind.

I'm not even talking about stability, simply that it's irrelevant as we have no players. Do you honestly think someone else would be doing any different with the exact same team? Do you think they'd even play a different team?

You have never seen a new manager come in and make a massive difference with the same players. 

What about Valerian with Barnsley last season who around bottom after 7 games and no window to bring players in

Look what he is doing at Relegated West Brom (even against another relegated club)

Yes, that's not what I asked. Do you think right now a new manager, with the exact same patchwork squad would come in and transform this team? With no left back, central midfield or decent strikers? And half the defence injured or suspended.

Basically you’re saying Hughton cannot get the best out of what he has got

The same utter non-sense which is used to start again and again.  And such short sighted and self serving stats aren't balanced against our new CEO's recruitment record over this very Summer.  Or last year.

Again.  How many permanent signings has Hughton made over two Summers, Widdow?  Does that stat not conveniently fit into your empty stat?

Hughton's recruit, with recruitment (see his status at Brighton and Newcastle which you are carefully avoiding) is in another universe to Gary Megson's time.

It's just been so badly thought through. Again. I wish the club wouldn't kid itself players like Figs are anywhere near good enough. He was an absolute liability all season, and now we're expecting a defensive manager to build a solid defense with him as one of the key players.
