Great game of football tonight. So good to see the u23 playing the right way. They looked so good.

Fornah was excellent again as was Fernandez.
The goalkeeper looked good, calm and assured.
The 2 new lads were good both clearly lacking game time and will need to get up to speed with the championship.

Really good to see the u23 so impressed with the way Andy Reid has them playing.

All of that.  Yes.

When I 1st tuned in to the stream I just admired the way the u23s play.  The Forest Way.  Held on to the ball like a Red Brazil worthy of a Clough team.  Quite breathtaking.  If Forest can transfer this to the 1st team.  It's 'take off!' time.

For alot of the match they passed Burnely off the park.  Worthy of a Brian team.  Most impressive.

Shame they didn't hang on for the 1-0 from the great goal.

You know what I saw in their passing?

'Truth.'

Watching the game last night was impressed with both Fornah and Fernandez, both should be part of the 1st team squad now as they look ready to make the step-up.

I thought Fornah was in the squad?

Interesting fact I just read in a Tails article about the U23s. They're getting Reid and some of the other coaching staff to learn Spanish due to the multi culture nature of the squad.

Nice little touch from Forest to help accommodate players from different backgrounds

Certainly will help if we are looking at the South American market for young lads.

If we get any more players from Brazil, the Portuguese lads can translate.

He has been in the squad and team for the Carabao Cup games SA, but there are now more senior players ahead of him in the first team set up. Garner, Yates, Colback, Odeja, Cafu, maybe Arter if Coops fancies having a look at him upon his return from his loan.
