Nottingham Forest - Manchester United - League Cup Both Legs
I probably overreacted towards Dennis last night. Not the best time to comment on games during play, however I'm just not convinced by him. For some reason he seems to stick out like a sore thumb. If Coops can't get a tune out of him then I think he'll never make it at Forest.

He did some decent things. Won a few really good headers from balls Hennessy played out to him. Tried to run at their defence a few times (but often failed). Was unlucky with the shot which hit Surridge. But he resorted to falling over looking for fouls too often.

I think the ability is there but the confidence just isn't at the moment, which is a real shame.

I say he's overconfident in his own ability and underconfident in his team mates' abilities.

He wasnt great but Dennis did put a shift in last night.

On another matter the was a VAR red card review about mid way through 2nd half last night. I haven’t watched it back, anyone know what/who it was for?

Some brouhaha between Johnson and the incredibly irritating Garnacho. On TV they didn't really show what it was.

On a side note, Garnacho and Antony (and Fernandes to a degree) really have picked up Ronaldo's mantle of being easy to dislike.

Bit of a soft push, think they were looking for a hand raised to the face from Brennan.

As opposed to Antony’s stamp on Dennis in the first half which was a straight red in anyone’s book…
