December has been a terrible month for us, we had only lost two league matches prior to 7 December and have then lost three this month as well as snatching a draw from the hands of victory against Norwich.

The draw at Derby was a good point and we dealt with Ipswich as you would expect.

I think we will look back and accept that a point at Carrow Road was actually a good result notwithstanding the circumstances.

We underestimated both Preston and QPR. That’s been the real issue, both teams fancied their chances and we had no idea how to break them down.

So if he does go and eventually get a new job, how many of his signings would he try to sign for his new club?

I want him to stay because I think he is progressing us, albiet at a very expensive & slow rate (which other manager like Billy & Warbs would have done for far cheaper), and chaging things now means upheaval which we could do without, again.

But I will say this, I don't think he's anywhere near as good an actual manager as we've had here in the past 7 years. I'd put SOD, Billy, Warbs and possibly even Pearce ahead of him.

He's a one trick pony who's had longer & more money than most managers, yet who's left himself with a woefully unbalanced squad and shockingly short on game-changing options.

Like I say, hope he stays for consistancies sake & think he can still get us to the playoffs, but if he does go we've lost far better in recent years anyway.
