Your Thoughts On The Current Nottingham Forest Manager
In fairness, looking at who follows that account it may well not be fake.

I'm not convinced that what he's tweeting will actually happen though.

That’s what will happen here folks. I hope Marikinakis knows what he is letting himself in for. This is fawazesque.

I looked at his tweet and he does appear to be a BBC sports employee. He'll just be speculating like all of us. I'm sure if there was some knowledge floating around the BBC then we'd have heard it now.

Just get it over with. It's clear he doesn't have the support of the club. May of well still have Fawaz here

But with situations like these something has to be said by someone and honestly the only reason there hasn't been anything said is because it won't be good news, they don't back Karanka, they clearly want him gone, they just want him to jump for some reason.

Abramovic employs sophisticated Chief Execs who basically run the club and do the talking. City presumably the same.

Point still stands, I've never heard them speak either.

More rumours over Aitor Karanka's future at #nffc.
Understand he has not been sacked (taking training today) and the club currently (key word) do not have any plans to dismiss him.
However there is thought to be a degree of “discord” between the parties.
Situation appears fluid.

Richard Conway was the BBC reporter who interviewed Marinakis when he took over the club.

That bloke is a serious journalist and was the one who interviewed the big man after the takeover.
AK is obviously toast. Just get on with it.

There are happy clubs, everybody on the same page, harmonious, respect all the way through, yachts and schooners … and then there is NFFC … oil tankers stuck on a sandbank off immingham

They've obviously made their minds up weeks ago that he was going. So why delay the inevitable?! Wasting weeks of training and transfers?

Probably some disagreement in that area.

Results.  (Though this current 'discord' seemed to start after the the WIN at Ipswich.)

Not being 1st or 2nd in the table.

(Despite being on life support a year and a half ago...)

Be wise to keep Aitor, get 3-4 players in.  Get back in the top 6 and plug away at the top 2.

It's probably consistency that is hurting Forest.  But, ironically, that is because Forest haven't been consistent with their managers over the last twenty years.

It's not a disaster.  Forest are 7th after beating top of the table Leeds.

Forest don't have enough sufficient quality players at Keeper, CH, LB, Winger or Striker to quite do what the hierarchy wants.  Their investment is substantial...but not if averaged out over the last 3 seasons of prior decline and life support.  It's more a shot in the arm.  The other clubs are just ahead in terms of progression.

Actor's going to need more time (anyone would) to do this more convincingly.

Totally agree SA. Think we all do. But our opinion counts for nothing. What on earth went on after Ipswich? It just stinks to be honest. I didn’t want Watbs gone as I bought into the ‘life support ’ quote and developing a young squad...I then could see that AK was decent and was impressed with his getting rid of those not good enough- followed by a summer rebuild that put in with a shout of a top half / play off challenge and signed ed up again for it. Why have people not learned? 3-4 quality additions. Now will give us a shot at the playoffs. If AK doesn’t do it - re evaluate in the Summer.
