Nottingham Forest chairman, Tom Cartledge, on the Peter Taylor stand expansion: “Certainly before Christmas we are looking to make a series of announcements about additional activity that is going to take place across the stadium. Part of that will be some more specific timelines relating to the Peter Taylor Stand. “Today, there isn’t a definitive date because we are still working through some key areas with the respective councils. But we have very much accelerated that in the last three months and I am very pleased with the progress we have made. Hopefully before Christmas we will be confirming a number of things.”

By all accounts the comments I have read have been very positive regarding the fanzone yesterday

Attended the NFST AGM yesterday and Tom Cartiledge addressed a few points on the PSR situation and ground bits

He is a lot more approachable than Nicholas Randall and very forthright

We are not far away from being able to start work on the container stands. Tom realises we are restricted by City Ground location and would have wanted a big capacity with main stand redevelopment. Main blockers are City Council having limited staff due to cuts. However the club don't blame the City Council, they recognise they are a slight bottleneck for work to begin

With FFP thing. He can't say too much legally, but club feel let down by PL, and have a solid legal stand point. PL FSA also attended and acknowledged the lack of transparency on Man City punishment and also that an independent regulator is very highly a possibility for the PL and FFP etc.

No mention of Boat club, just City Council need to work with club to start with groundwork and surrounding infrastructure. They have to be ready as Club are ready to go in off season, but it won't be this Summer for the Council

Strong desire for it to be resolved ASAP, they are already sharing accounts and transfer plans with PL for next season. Full transparency and trying to provide full disclosure.

Confidence in independent commission to see sense but no guarantees

I think the club wish to operate as normal as possible with a view to perhaps being more cautious and sceptical about promises of what can and cannot be includes. Been likened by Finance and accountants as complicated as filing a tax return and claiming for relief and allowances that are perhaps bending the limits.

They will err on the side of caution no doubt but not do a Leicester and not spend. We are under no embargo or limitations of than those we assess as getting us in trouble this time next year.

Furthermore, they are recruiting a fair few Senior leadership roles. Starting with a permanent Legal Councel/officer at the club

With focus on Tom Cartledge being a more active Chairman, dealing with Operational matters where Dane previously acted. So no, immediate CEO but Tom filling part of those duties.

He is definitely more the business side,.off field structures, ground, academy options. Then the owners and sporting director on the Playing side of things as their.focus

CEO is just a title nothing else.

We have a CFO (chief Football Officer) in Ross Wilson. After all we are a football club right?
