Sniffer mate, You would know what EM is like as a person more than I would as I don't know much about him at all but what do you think he'll be thinking now ? Would he be regretting buying into the British football system because its more geared for the ""bigger"" clubs or is he the type to fight it with everything he has and go about it in any way possible ??

Sorry mate for asking but I'd say he'd still be spitting his cornflakes out this morning and I wonder how many TVs got smashed yesterday.

EM doesn't do regrets nor is he a quitter.

However he is totally brassed off and extremely frustrated right now.

I am unsure what will happen next.

I don't rule anything out or in.

Does that include selling the club because he's had enough?

The man has our best intentions at heart and he has backed us to the hilt but there just seems to be constant obstacles in the way of what he wants to do and to achieve whether that is trying to keep the club in the PL and take us to the next level or whether it is trying to rebuild the stadium and the surrounding area etc. Now he has got fans on his back because of season tickets etc.

He is only human and he knows he has made a few mistakes along the way but if he decides he has had enough then I genuinely fear for the future of our club.

Hand on heart I think he will dust himself down and go again but he ain't happy right now that much I can tell you.

If he did decide to sell up then im pretty sure this time around there'd be a queue of potential buyers lined up. We'd have no debt, be a prem club, or a championship club with parachute payments, and have a decent ish squad.

Despite what some might think EM is actually very well liked and very well respected within Football circles (apart from the PGMOL).

If you're a top coach and witnessed what Nuno had to face after the final whistle yesterday then you're not going to want to have to deal with shite like that.  Yes, there'll always be someone who will do it but if there's an equal,  non bonkers club, say Wolves or Palace, then you're always going to go there. We'll be last in line for top talent.

Surely any right minded person can see that it is incompetence rather than corruption?

It’s simply a case that the current crop of officials is not up to the task of officiating at the highest level. They don’t have the experience or the nous and, as such, make very obviously and costly mistakes.

If the Club in any way imply corruption then it deserves to be punished by the heaviest possible sanctions.

I mean......it's not actually that hard to imagine. Corruption is rife everywhere in the world. And yes, in this upstanding beacon of light, the UK. The sheer amount of shite being directed our way this season (FPS and reffing shite) that actually, you have to question every situation. The FA and PGMOL or whatever it's called are closed shops. It would actually be very easy to be 'incompetent'. 

As we've discussed on lots of other threads, the whole financial system and linking revenue it to what we're allowed to invest in etc etc is to be honest, not a fair system, it's just a shame we've voted for it...apparently.
