Not sure O’Neil needs him but would complete the comeback. Interestingly keanes visits to the city ground and u23 have been very frequent for the last 3 years - increasing recently. Wonder if it has been a plan all along...

Still no sign of Keane. How long does it take to negotiate to be a no2?  Surely the club would want the entire management team in place for the first weeks training ahead of an important home game.

There's an issue somewhere Im sure. I don't think he's coming personally.

Key Events
  • Forest update - Reds hope to agree Keane deal today, O'Neill spent over 12 hours at training ground on first day11:06

  • O'Neill wants Joe Worrall back at Forest from Rangers10:12

  • Could former Celtic boss Martin O'Neill deal blow to Rangers in Old Firm title race by recalling Joe Worrall to Forest?09:07

  • Martin O'Neill's first day as Forest boss - in pictures08:23

  • New Forest boss Martin O'Neill a 'great communicator' like Brian Clough, says John Robertson08:04
Source Nottinghamshire LiveIt is more positive than what Taylor said yesterdayPersonally I'm desperate for Keane to be part of the management team, something about Keane might take over in a couple of years type negotiationI believe Roy Keane will run through brick walls to be part of this

The Radio Nottingham Podcast is well worth a listen and pay careful attention to what Daniel Taylor is saying for those criticising the owners.

Comments on the Aitor situation and the effects on the players with the withdrawn nature of the 'situation' had its effect. That would explain the directionless nature of Reading performance...with players wondering what the hell was going on.

So, it's cost Forest points. Several games worth of points. Should have been in the play offs.

Martin was at the Reading game? 'Deliberately' not seen? So, he'll have done his homework.

McGovern on appointment, 'Superb.'

Intrigued by Nixon’s latest comment - saying that the delay in announcing Keane is ‘personal’.
