If you mean with regards to AK's departure then you are unlikely to hear much more, due to confidentiality clauses. I won't rehash old ground but enough is public to know that this wasn't Captain Evil V's Saint Karanka the innocent, & that some blame can be apportioned to BOTH sides & that the narrative of the sweet, innocent, entirely blameless Karanka, hounded out by the big evil meanies, just because they're an evil bunch of... is a work of fiction.

The main thing all fans need to know is AK has gone & probably won't be seen in Nottingham ever again, while the club is still here so it's probably best to move on, just like AK has done & to stop holding on to him & using him as a negative black cloud above the club.

No one is deifying Karanka, he is clearly flawed in many areas. I could easily list a dozen things that he did that frustrated the hell out of me. 

AK has gone, does that mean we can’t share our views on who we think would be better suited to see us through the next three and a bit months?

If there is any cloud over the Club right now then it may be the sign of a rainbow on the horizon or many many more rainy days to come. 

I’m entitled to be concerned about us with MON at the helm until I see something to suggest otherwise. Will me voicing my concerns have any impact on the situation? Absolutely not. I don’t expect anything to the contrary. 

A win on Saturday is much needed right now.

I think many in the crowd felt the same. It was so similar to McLeish coming in it is unreal. I’d love MON to do the business but dont think he will unfortunately. I also missed the Leeds match so haven’t seen us score since Ipswich.

I agree we all need to accept AK is gone and we all need to get over it. I don’t think the black cloud is about AK specifically. For me personally it’s the fact, it seems, a promising season has turned to dust once again amid turmoil at the club.

Even with AK in charge we weren’t really consistent enough. But we showed glimpses of what we could be and after the past 5 or so years that was enough to at least lift the fans.

The fact were seemingly back to square one with an incomplete squad yet again is what’s getting to me.

Martin has a huge job on his hands, I wish him well, I certainly wouldn’t like to see a man so well thought of and respectful of the club be caught up in turmoil of his own at the hands of the owners.

I was fully behind the new owners, I still am mostly but the way they handled the AK saga leaves me Feeling a little uneasy.

Martin will get my full support, I just feel very sad that this point in the season we are seemingly no further forward than we were last year, a squad with no morale and no fight.

And it really really p****s me off that every Monday morning I have to here the sheep fans smugly telling me what a great job Franks doing!!

Bang on RedGirl. I’m scratching my head trying to understand how Mr Marinakis can think that the events of the last couple of weeks can enhance his / our promotion aspirations this season.

Bad investment, failure to create new opportunities, getting value from what we do have, bad PR. All easily resolved given the right strategy and time. Something I don't think he will want to do.

So many rose tinted glasses with regards to the football played under karanka. It was defensive we time wasted from the start (Norwich), we created few chances and we were vulnerable on every set piece and whenever any team pressed us. 

Mcleish took a side playing slick passing football and turned it into hoofball. Completely different.

We are all being clouded by being in a bad run of form.

A lot of fans (me included) believed that we were getting better with AK and given time he'd get us to playoffs/promotion. He did have many flaws and things that annoyed me, but he also had many positives and I have been sad they way it's all worked out.

However, we have the same players, so to suggest that we have gone from making good progress to MON having a massive job isn't right.

I believe that MON will progress this team and he has my full support. Win a couple of games and everything will look differently.

Karanka was a long way from perfect but I dont get this defensive negative football thing, not just you Wassy, plenty have said it. Karanka set us up to be competitive with top teams with the squad we have which with all our “big spending” isnt a patch on some. It wasnt champagne stuff but as good to watch as I have seen in a few years. We are still vulnerable at the back due to the continuing lack of major investment in defence. The time wasting did annoy the hell out of me though.

Yes we move on and we will play well again eventually whatever the manager. Its just the back to square one and sense the club have chosen to throw away the season again that frustrates the most.

I dont get this defensive negative football thing

I won't get to technical, because we're talking about the past, which can be a nice (or sometimes less nice) place to visit, but a place where we should never live & did touch briefly on some of the issues earlier in the season, but 3 simple stats for you, EPL goal drought record, Nottingham Forest all time goal drought record, we've only scored in 2 of the last 9 (all competitions).

Negative comes in all sorts of flavours & appearances, but you don't rack up those 3 stats, after significant spends, if you're a positive manager.

Some of our impressive defensive stats were an illusion that was built on sacrificing normal transition from back to front at times.

Yeah I agree Karanka’s tactics relying on slow patient build up with a protected defence. Not necessarily a bad thing given we have not got a good defence or keeper. With a similar defence we were slaughtered under warbs defensively as we committed more players players forward.

I just don’t like the suggestion we’re going to be playing much worse football than under karanka. I’d imagine the tactics will be fairly similar
