Big drop in hospitality sales didn’t push us over the 30k mark

They’ve ramped up the hospitality with those extra areas haven’t they? So have numbers gone down despite that?

I remember looking at the prices and they were pretty eye watering. I can imagine individuals going at previous prices, even people not very wealthy, but as a treat, maybe a birthday. The current prices I thought look out of reach for most even as one-offs, like it’s only something companies or the very wealthy individuals would do now.

Sure it's something like £280 for the cheapest adult hospitality ticket now.

Sadly, it would appear that there are those at the club that do not get our fan base. The vast, vast majority are everyday normal people that attend matches as a treat for themselves. In a lot of instances simply cannot afford the prices the club expects them to pay or at least struggle to pay.........see the uproar with the latest pricings for both season card holders and the general public. We are not a Man Utd, Liverpool, Chelsea or other richly loaded club that can easily attract the more wealthy attendee. We are predominantly a traditional working class club whose fan base is predominantly from the working classes. £280 is a lot of peoples weekly income FFS!

There might be some less than that. I didn't look at all the options. The £280 ones were for the Trentside Lounge or whatever it's called now which I think is the cheapest.

The owners of the Lambo, Ferrari and Porsche parked outside the BC stand yesterday can afford it..

On an unrelated note why would you allow your pride and joy worth £200k to be parked where thousands of unwashed and inebriated footy fans are pushing past it? More money than sense is the clear answer.

People who didn’t renew did so based on last seasons offerings - they’ve now chucked a huge wedge at revamping the areas so I’d imagine the numbers will go up again once people realise that they’re actually getting a better return for their money. I’ve had a look around them and they do look miles better than what was there previously.

Its tacky and a tad embarrassing and detracts from the WFCG?

I don’t personally think there’s anything wrong with it and if you’re focussed on it not the football whilst at the game then something’s gone very wrong

I appreciate the effort and investment but yeah, it doesn’t look great.

Kind of quirky thing you could maybe get used to as it’s a bit unique to us, though not as kind on the eye as the cottage in the corner at Fulham!
