COYR!

Yes indeed it is, but my only concern is that are these two young lads physically strong enough for the regular hurly burly of the Championship.
That would be my concern as well, albeit very slight. You’d hope that with players like Watson, bridcutt and hopefully colback that they’d be enough steel in our midfield to offer adiquate protection for the new lads!

We paid no loan fee for Goncalves and have agreed a 15m purchase fee for him at the end of the season split into 3 4.5mill payments should we go through with it.

Surely 3 x 5m?

Makes good business sense.

Great being run by proper professional football people isn't it?

Bargain of a deal.

Carvalho shows some real quality, you can see his reading of the game and the passes he is trying to execute.
There should and needs to be more to come though, would like to see him really dominate a game in the way Saiz does for Leeds. Its a big ask and early days but I think he does have the ability, we have a lot of investment resting in him coming good.

He’s still very young, I’m impressed that he’s managed to play three games in a week.

Yea the boy has got it, the team need to get up to his standard.

He was just knackered today like most of the team honestly, the fatigue showed.

The team seemed tired out, yesterday. But still ground out the win. That's a healthy sign.

The Championship schedule, the muck and nettles football of 'kick it' and 'run' and 'kick his legs' nature of it all, is one of the things the Portuguese players are going to have to adapt to. But once they get the measure of it, I think our record signing will start to stamp their authority on games more and more.

After 3 games, even the energetic Dias seemed jaded and knackered. When you're tired you don't perform at your best.

Ergo, the 'fatigue' showed in the performance. But happy with the win.

And didn't Derby lose? :)

3 games in the championship would be like 5 games based on their past

I bet AK spent a fair bit of time mulling over whether yesterday was a step to far for them, I think the quality of the performances clouded the judgement
