The optimist in me thinks seven points from our remaining games could be enough. Villa are definitely weaker without Rashford and Chelsea are pretty flaky. Newcastle have a couple of tough matches next up too. Everything to play for.
You would like to think 67 would be enough, especially if that includes not losing against Chelsea.
Be nice if 67 was enough so the Chelsea game didn't matter. It's not impossible with their next two matches.
Ideal scenario would be for us to be secure and for them to need something from the game, which we then deny them. That'd be sweet.
It'd be funny if they ended up in the Conference League again. :Funny:

If Chelsea win the Conference League this season doesn't that guarantee them Europa League next season?
I am sure that is what happened to Olympiakos when they won it.

We get seven or more points from the next three matches, Villa fail to win either of them and Chelsea lose both of them and it'd be done.

I think the odds are pretty long on that.

Maybe so but it's not impossible. Chelsea have Liverpool and Newcastle next while Villa play Fulham and Bournemouth.

Well its taken me half a day and now I believe again!
Lets start with a win tonight for on form Wolves against City. 6 wins in a row coming in, sure they were all against the bottom 6 sides but that doesn't mean they can't ride the momentum. City have shown frailties, a surprise result here would really bring them back into the equation.

That's the spirit. :Funny: : :
I'm not too fussed about Man City now. As long as Villa and Chelsea drop points this weekend I'll be happy. Newcastle not beating Brighton would be a bonus.

It could be worse. West Ham's manager Graham Potter said he hopes Tottenham finish the job to get to the final.

Not bothered about Man City. Just need to stay above Chelsea and Villa.
