The problem with very rich people, who are not truly invested in a football club, is that they can tire of their toy and move to another. When there is an aura of suspicion about the origins of the wealth and of the character of who holds it, then there is another problem.
Millwall might revel in being the club that nobody but them loves but I see a big danger in Forest joining them. For a club with such a noble and proud history, one that was universally admired for both good football and high standards, I think that is a pity. Temporary success is no substitute for being a genuine part of the football family.
Fans obviously have no control over who owns the shares but they still have influence and can demand accountability. Not just of what happens at their club but of the general behaviour of the owners.
This isn't twitter, you aint fooling no one, Sniffer do the honours?
Done.

Massive shout out to the Big Man this morning.
During this close season he's managed to (possibly) get us promoted to the Europa League and now he's fended off a big 6 club for our star boy, even though they triggered a release clause. That's incredible work so far from him. Other clubs fans & owners hate the bloke, which suggests he's winning battles on our behalf. Other boardrooms will now take the guy as a dead serious player in the prem.

EM top man, speaks with passion and it's good to have him as our owner.

“It was a few seconds to agree” Yes it probably was with a gun pointing at MGW’s head!
Seriously though, sometimes EM’s impulsiveness is misguided and in my opinion can be counterproductive but this time, an absolutely crucial intervention too, his involvement was absolutely top notch. Very very few other owners would have pulled that off, there is even some grudging respect from some Tottenham fans. Superb moment for our club and its future.

Superb leadership from EM.
Leading from the front and setting a great example to all the players and staff.

I think in Marinakis we have finally replaced Cloughie.
From "Old Big Ead" to "Big Man".

EM's birthday today. A nice new shiny Swiss winger would be a great present to oneself I think.

Rumours from Brazil of Marinakis and Textor joining forces to own Botafogo. It’s pretty clear that something like this was going to be on the cards, given the relationship between the two and our transfer forays in Brazil. Wait for the Palace meltdown!

If this happens, it’s going to kick right off.
If we get Palace’s space in the Europa League because of Textor, and then, according to the journo on Twitter (43k followers) “Marinakis is expected to invest 100M Euros to help Textor.” (via translate), to me, and I don’t know enough about this of course, but that’s not a good look.

But is it illegal, are we doing anything wrong, more importantly does EM care? I think all the answers are no. So neither should we.
