Nottingham Forest Academy And Under 21's
And Wague! Who by the way I'm told has been very impressive in training and has an excellent attitude alongside his attributes...

Glad that's the story! I always wondered why players didn't play for u23 - It didn't make sense and get players much needed minutes in legs. Also it devalued the U23 as if playing was beneath squad players - an unhealthy attitude because surely mixing up youth with seasoned pros would aid both parties in the long run?

Bringing on Appiah and Bonatini for example while chasing a game as the two combined well in a recent U23 match...

Another old fashioned approach to go alongside getting players doing things they're good at.

Things do seem to be changing - I wonder if a slimmer squad with higher quality is also on the horizon for 2019-20?

Brereton is still highly rated in the game.

I get that.
I don’t rate him so highly - just my opinion...

And whilst he doesn’t tend to start for Blackburn, they seem to do worse when he comes on, e.g. winning 2-0, bring him on and lose 2-3. Amongst the stats available is there a ‘with brereton on the pitch’ And without?

I also notice that Brennan Johnson has been training with the first team too.

Well done MON - no clues whatsoever to tonight’s lineup.
