It all depends on our own results at the end of the day. Do we go down the usual Forest route and bottle it or have MON and RK had long enough to coach the players to deal with the pressure.
I’m hoping it’s the latter but just not sure if they’ve had long enough.
Also worry about our goal threat, would feel more confident if Grabban was fit.
Yes it is possible but it will also take a lot of luck, then again we are due a whopping great heap of it.

playing Stoke at the right time, best chance ever of getting a win, i'm sure a few above us will drop a few points as well, can't see us losing, I can see us hitting a 2 point a game average .. but will it be enough, ideally win 6 on the trot and challenge for automatic

Our next opponent Hull has managed 7 points and Aston Villa only 6 points. Our next opponent after that is Ipswich which has gathered a maasiv 3 points followed by Swansea with 7 points. So our 5 next games are against teams at the bottom of the form table and should be there for the beating. Forest btw has 11 points but we all know that it should have been 15 :)
If we win these games (which we are more than capable of), then the momentum will be incredible. The teams around us will be terrified.

love this post, liked it, so we have the 5 worst form teams 1 after another
wonder if Forza or someone could organise something special for the home games, maybe huge pictures of selective players or all the players and sing the players song when unfurled, it does seem the atmosphere was a huge inspiration against Derby

True, Mr. GaribaldiRED.
However, it is equally true that Forest are the world record holders for gifting these kind of teams 'kickstarted' seasons. How many times have Forest broken a 'poor team's' duck with a soft win for them? Time and time again.
But, under the new leadership, MoN/Keane, Forest are a very different proposition. Robust. Direct. Hard working. And with a rebooted spinal core to the side that isn't going to be bullied by 'that lot' above. CHs that are diamond hard and a 'dream come true' DCM trinity infront of them that won't be dominated. More's the fact, they'll do the bossing thanks.
So then. If MoN said, 'I am the senate.' beneath a hooded cloak. I wouldn't doubt it. Those Trent waters are running deep. Things are happening...
'Stoke, it is.'

Yes, there's enough top v top matches left that it negates any minor points differences & so Forests fate is in our own hands.
The points are available for us to get.
We have to go to full on cliche land & literally approach each game, one at a time, & give each one our best shot & if it works out we'll be over the moon.
MoN and Keane don't do bottling.
The points are available for us to get.
The 'top 6' have been erratic all season.
They just need a little shove. And somebody is going to crack.
As NG3 said, 'Forest broke Derby. Mentally and physically.'
Insightful.
The best way. Is with an old cliche.

The latest Nottingham Post 'supercomputer' prediction has us finishing 6th on 71 points and beating Bristol City and the sheep to the last playoff spot on goal difference.
What I found interesting was the results it predicted for us, which are actually worse than I'd hope we'd get.

For me winning our 6 home games is key to making it into the pray off places. All we can do is think about ourselves and not what is going on in other games.

Would leave us 7 points behind Albion tomorrow, if we won.
Edit: 3-0 (second for Bamford)
I think a leeds win probably most helpful, whoever it is, defeats often breed more defeats, no reason why Brizzle, Albion and Boro can't all stutter, stall and fall out of the sky.

Yes. Because results went out way.
Despite our doing our best to capitulate with a half asleep performance.

Agree. Seems like no one wants 6th spot. Even the teams from Stoke upwards must be saying what we are saying...."If we can go on a run......" Mathematically it seems 6th spot will be one of the lowest totals ever required since 46 game seasons came in.
