He has got a fair bit of interest so could be seen as quite the coup.

So was Edu.

Isn't he already working with Rio Ave?

Now looking like he's going to Juve.

Slightly weird open letter from Randall just published on the official site.

In a nutshell:

- Thanks fans for their support
- Says work continues diligently regarding stadium development (without giving any specific updates)
- Says intention is to retain our current core squad
- And that we want to strengthen key areas by bringing in top quality players with good character

Maybe it's just me reading too much into it but I hope it's not softening us up before bad news. And I'm not talking Anderson going either as we all know that's going to happen.

Anyway here's the link to the page - read it yourselves: https://www.nottinghamforest.co.uk/news/...andall-kc/

Hopefully nothing but we know there'll be interest in MGW too. I know you've said we won't sell both in the same window and I'd certainly hope we wouldn't, but we just don't know that.

Like I said it's probably me reading too much into it - the tone of the letter just seemed odd to me.

I think the news you are referring to is Anderson.
You say everyone knows he is going, but literally there will be some who lose their heads lol
No chance is EM selling MGW this window

Yeah I don't class Anderson as bad news because it's no secret that it's going to happen (barring any late surprises). If anyone loses their heads over that - providing we get somewhere near the fee we want - then they're daft.

He won’t go for a penny less than a British transfer record, and although you can’t like for like replace him, 3 starters with the money can make us stronger over the pitch.

I agree the tone reads as odd but its probably because he's aware he needs to reach out to the fans once a year but there's really not much to say this time. Transfer strategy remains the same, fans are decent, stuffs happening with the stadium that you dont know about etc etc.

If there was another big sale in the pipeline then I'm sure there'd be more reflection in the piece about the success of the club's transfer strategy to date and a mention that no one leaves the club unless we decide so etc.

He missed out saying Vitor will be given the precious commodity of time.
