You would think with Carv and Goncalves not impressing that Arvin must have a shout of at least the bench

My "inside info" was that for obvious reasons they wanted to look at loaned & contracted players first, so it was possible that no one else would be blooded before the end of the season, that changed recently to for obvious reasons they wanted to look at loaned & contracted players first, but there was an outside chance someone else might be blooded before the end of the season.

I'd suggest after last night my "inside info" might well have changed slightly again.

It wasn't the best night for Appiah but the Swedish kid he tussled with is 23 & has played regular first team for Bristol city (30+ caps in a year & a half?) & Arvin did best him occasionally & got an assist.

He could have done better, but on balance still inched somewhat closer to a place in the team.

As above Jayden Richardson was the star of the show. I suspect next year we'll start with Tendayi & Jayden as the 2 first choice RB's.

That's another item to scratch off the shopping list.

Is this the occasionally mentioned heir apprentice RB?  (Was he injured a while back?)

I wish him well to push for a 1st team place next season.

Imagine him, Worrall and Yates in the 1st team.

As for Appiah. Surely worth a shot if Cash is out longer with his hamstring(?) issues? He, like Yates, might be somebody that performs better on the field of battle than in training, even.

A characteristic, MoN has alluded to in some of his interviews...

6' Cardiff City 0-1 #NFFC: The Reds make a terrific start as Will Swan fires his side into an early lead.

Will Swan's goal takes him clear as top scorer for the U18's

Swan 9
Mighten 8
(+1 for 23s)
Andrew 6
Back 5
Asare 4
Harbottle 4
Dekel-Daks 3

Interesting...  Goal scoring talent bubbling under the surface...  Exciting stuff.

Who was the half-time entertainment? Rachel Riley? Buffy the vampire slayer?

I hope she’s not planning on burning vampires on Appiah...

Does anyone who attends these games have an opinion on Bossin? Any chance he could make the step up and solve our goalkeeper dilemma?
