Not bad going if it pans out like that, but still plenty to be done.

Yeah still loads to be done.

And it’s been quiet on full backs and the strikers (possibly 4 new signings required right there)

And of course still lots of players he doesn’t want and won’t be included for the St George’s training camp

Have they announced their pre seasontour yet? Obviously not bothered about forest fans heading out for it

In reality though, it very rarely happens unfortunately.

Exactly, and Karanka is well aware of that fact if we are honest, he knew it was never going to realistically happen.

A couple of signings tomorrow takes it to 6 inc' Fig'.

Winger and...Soudani? Nikola? A striker? Sa? (No, not me...the keeper were linked with..?

Exciting times.

It's kind of bewilderment and bemusement to a degree. Not used to quality signings of this this nature and the club going about its business quietly and professionally off the radar.

Ie competing and burying the Championship opposition. It's Forest sending out the shockwaves this season. The Bristol City manager has even took notice.

If we can get that DCM and Striker of the same magnitude of quality as the wingers/acm.

Pinch me.

And so the 2018/19 campaign preparation start today

It just wasn’t as busy last week with announcements and it doesn’t look like he got all the players he wanted to (yet) for the start. And he certainly hasn’t got rid of the deadwood.

I said last week will be busy but it was a case of one in and one out but hey also realise must be so busy behind the scenes so again should be another busy week)s)

Forest have rarely had all their players in before the end of June.  It just never seems to happen.

That said, getting Fig, Dawson, a 13 million transfer ACM, a winger who is worth more(?) and another winger who's worth 17 million all in before training starts seems like something of a make believe miracle.  That's 5 players in (with at least that many out and more to go...) of genuine quality.  Last year, for our pre-season start, that would have seemed unimaginable.  In many ways, a land mark pre-season of clear intent with more to come?

I don't doubt there is a flurry of activity behind the scenes to land the other targets.

Pereira had a £12m buy out clause when he came on loan. These figures mean nothing.
