Wow. 240 apartments behind the Peter Taylor Stand, I have to get one of them for my trips over to Nottingham.

Good to hear things progressing and would like one of them penthouses!

A bit disappointed to read it will be two seasons with only 3 stands - anyone have any more details on that? Is that two years without a PT stand?! Or is it one year without the PT stand in phase one and then the second year would be without the Bridgford stand in the second phase?

I was also thinking I have to find a way to finance buying one of these!!!! Even if it's a studio to rent out!!

New PT stand with great facilities, conference stuff, apartments, shop, museum, rowing clubs, ...

Rest of the ground, but not sure what.

Why would anyone sit in the 3 stands when new stand is built. Currently the Upper Clough it's impossible to do anything at halftime as it's impossible to move. I can only imagine its similar in the other stands.

I love it in the lower Bridgford stand. you can pop out behind the stand at half time and have a fag and none of the stewards bother you

They will level the roof in the Bridgford Stand and tart up the Trent End and Brian Clough Stand.

Long overdue, but why not get done now ready for next season. Or at least before the ground is reduced to 3 sides, when the existing stands are surely going to be full every week.
To me it seems the wrong way round. I guess that a new concourse isn't as sexy as a new stand!

Makes sense to do the concourses first. Get that out the way.. more matchday revenue streams in.

I’ve heard they are filling in the back of the Brian clough stand and totally gutting the Trent end concourse and remodelling the current corporate facilities formally the pitch diner so they are more accessible to every day fans.

Not been in there for years so this might be complete nonsense on my part but the Pitch Diner seems to me to be a massive opportunity missed. If they could work out how normal fans could just turn up and drink there with purchasing a membership then it'd be a fantastic success and maybe drag some people away from nearby boozers.

Or if not that, a general admission casual restaurant accessed via the concourse. A place where fans could choose to eat and drink pre and post match that's easily accessible from their seat. IMO it'd be packed if prices were sensible and the service good.

It sounds very exciting. They're going to try and maximise every bit of 'wasted' space they can. 'Filling in the back' of the Brian Clough Stand. When I go to the City Ground I think there is 'bit' of space there and perhaps footprint hasn't been maximised or efficiently used. There's room for improvement and the developers seem to agree. ;) It was 'ok to decent' back in 1994. But now? It looked dated. It was rusty, dirty and needed a lick of paint and a good clean. That despite some outrageous money being wasted on journeyman players.

Credit the new owners. They came in and started tidying areas up and giving things a fresh lick of paint.

The 'new' ground. It was a kick ass announcement. :D They KNOW they're doing.

At one point it seemed like Forest didn't need the capacity and it might have been dismissed.

But any move to the Premier and 30k was never going to be enough.

The architectural visualisations look terrific and I like how they've kept it open so you can still 'peak' into the ground on your up.  And the open areas around the ground 'concourses'(? Not a word I've used a lot...) seems less congested.

Two years, eh?  Can't wait.
