Interesting that both Clark and Bassett got us promoted with just a slightly better points per game ratio at Forest than MON currently has.

Do the Clarke and Bassett's numbers include the games played in the top flight?

If they do, they add a completely different complexion to the figures published.

I would say that it does include PL games

Frank Clarke only managed for one season in L1 averaging 1.8 points per game

Dave Bassett only managed for one season in L1 averaging 2.04 points per game

I would have been seriously surprised if a massive imposter like Billy had a better record than the two best managers we have had since BC

quite rate Billic as decent guy, did well for Croatia but recent form in management isn't particularly impressive to say the least, they are appointing a guy who probably hasn't seen any championship players or games for 18 months, i quite liked some of the Croatia kit designs back in the day, a bit Jackson Pollock meets Picasso but even so
