Personally, I think we may be touch further ahead than expected due in part to a settled back 4 and the impact of 3 new players in particular (Sow, Semedo and Ameobi), plus Watsons form. First and foremost I am enjoying the games and travel to London for a few days with the belief we have a chance of points in both games and I really like SL and I am desperate for him to be a success. However, and I am not being negative, I reserve judgment until we have negotiated those winter months and the difficult away trips to places like Millwall, Brentford and Reading. (Last year zero points at those places). If Semedo and co continue to shine then what a season it could be. On the other hand....... For now though, the signs are good

Usually I reckon it takes 6-8 games to get a feel for how good we look. Even then it’s only potential. We will learn a bit more after the next two away games. Fulham away is as tough a test and we will face.
The early signs are positive. Teams who can defend do well in the Championship, and we haven’t given away many chances so far.

I reckon Lamouchi has been great so far.
One question though, does anyone know who his assistants are?

I think lamouchi has made a fantastic impression, he wants to get the balance right, his ideas are good, he is clearly coaching what he wants daily with the players, tactically seems very good. Looking to score goals. He wants to improve himself as well. I'm very optimistic with him, we just need to give him 15 games before his style will be fully introduced.

I really enjoy our managers honesty.
The way he described how play as being shit in his interview after the match yesterday was a joy to hear.

It is going to be interesting to see how the players react at Fulham after being told that their performanne at Charlton was shit by the manager in public.
