This thing about getting favours from Man City makes no sense, they wont thank us for Muric sitting on the bench but there is something about him that makes me nervous watching him, its like he cant decide what to do for any situation, come out for crosses, come out to block a shot, or stay rooted to his line. His goal kicks are woeful too.

Very very glad we have Brice.

You can see flashes of quality in him but as you say, he's got errors in there too. Only to be expected of a young keeper some might say but I recall watching Jordan Smith playing  his senior debut with us and not being as worried.

The one thing that stood out last night was he came ten yards to claim a Derby corner. Pants and Muric would have been rooted.

We noticed it too and said the same. How nice is it to have total confidence in the keeper.

I think we expected Pantilimon to leave, Steele has already left.

We needed 2 goalkeepers and we signed Muric to be one of them, to be fair nobody ever said that we signed him to be first choice. He is obviously our number 2. Not sure how that benefits City and the player though.

Lamouchi said in an interview that Muric was signed as first choice and Brice to be developed.
Dont know if he has changed his mind already. Saturday’s choice will be telling.

I think it's now obvious that Samba is number 1 and he will play on saturday. Lamouchi had made his mind up abpout Pants and Steele in the summer from watching videos of all our games before he was appointed. When Muric signed he was number 1 because there was nobody else (Pants and Steele were excluded). Once Samba signed he was always going to get the shirt.

Muric is not a Lamouchi signing.

Something happened between Pantilimon and MON that resulted in a fall out and Pantilimon indicating that he was off; well that is the story I was given at the Alfreton game by a member of the heirarchy.

I seem to recall MON and the Goal Keeping coach at the time going to see Muric play in an International game; I would guess that had something to do with him signing.

I reckon Lamouchi took one look at Muric in the Olympiacos game and decided he wanted another keeper; understandably so.

I hope for Muric, and our relationship with City, that he can go back to be loaned elsewhere before the window closes personally.

On the assumption that Pants is definitely on his way, if Muric did leave dramatically we'd have Jordan Smith as a no2 keeper. That'll do me. He's our player, we've brought him up and he'll be comfortable here. He's stepped up to the plate before and I'm sure he could do it again if asked.

Well done again Brice, too long since we have had a really confident goalkeeper, I think DeVries was the last one. Hugely important for me, makes the whole defence play better and its showing in results. He might push a ref a bit too far with his time wasting one day though!

I can't lie, I hate that stuff and if it were opposition I would implore the ref to make the keeper go off and wait to be called on like an outfield player. Being brought up on Cloughies standards, I just can't condone it. I love Samba otherwise.
