I can see this happening actually, we offload Carvalho to Olympiakos same as we did Bouchalakis. This time next year he is looking the part playing Champions league football against the best teams in Europe and we are left scratching our heads wondering why he didnt make it in the Championship.

And some folk will prob use that as an example of Carva's quality, still blind to the fact that what you need to do well in Europe isn't what you need to get out the Champ.  :D

I want Carva to really come back firing now. I know he's not had a pre-season, but he's had enough time to catch up on that now. Time to shine chap.

Im not picking a fight Sniffer /Alf but by this logic Forest or any physical Championship team could win the Champions league because strength > skill?  :huh:

The teams that do well in Europe have a bit of both. Liverpool have tough athletic pacy players who are strong physically as well as skilful. The teams with younger or less robust players invariably get knocked out.
Ajax ultimately were strong armed out of it by the more physically robust Spurs - Chelsea struggled with their young team until against 9 last night.
