I can't get my head around the fact that every time we sack a manager everybody goes ballistic and says we'll never get anywhere if we keep changing managers. The one thing everybody craves for is some stability.
Now we have that chance to get some stability with a good manager yet some people would rather let the managers contract run down to a few months and risk him having his head turned (Wolves, Watford and Everton already rumoured) and risk having our season derailed again at the same time.

Stability, or lack thereof, is the club's issue not ours. They (Marinakis et al) chose to appoint Montanier, Warburton, Karanka, Mon and then sack them. So it's hardly surprising that some on here think handing another manager a long(er) contract will end up with yet another manager needing another pay-off.
As others have said, this time last year we were looking decent until they allowed something to go wrong and we destroyed ourselves from within. I want Lamouchi to do well, I just dont trust the club to back him in the medium or long term. That's why my attitude is if aint broken, don't fix it.

If Sabri signed a new deal it would more than likely put off any potential suitors such as Wolves and Watford plus clubs back home in his native France.

It's been reported in L'Equipe in France that Watford wanted to offer him the job, but that he's turned it down.

Lamouchi isn't stupid. He needs to complete the season. He will be measured as having a good season if he gets in play-offs (or better), then we need to worry. It's way too early.
I'm saying this as a massive fan of him and I want him to be here in 5-10 years.

He's an attention to detail man so I can't see him swapping us at the moment for half a season in the premier league. No matter who's in charge there, no way are Watford staying up.
