Fair play to Sabri he fessed up last night and took the blame. I think most of us knew what the outcome would be though hence the frustration at him. More worrying for me though is the importance of fielding our first XI because some of our back ups dont look anywhere near good enough.

I’m with Zico.
I’ve slept on it but still believe Lamouchi was being economical with the truth.

As was hinted at on the radio, if the West Brom game was last night and Charlton on Sunday what would the team have been? Suspect we might have seen miraculous recoveries for Grabban and Sow.

And let’s not forget the full backs.

So if Grabban, Sow and Ameobi weren't carrying knocks can someone please explain to me why none of them were on the bench?
I'll wait...

After last night's decision by Lamouchi, I can only come to one conclusion on the team selection, and that is Lamouchi didn't learn anything from the Wigan game where he did the same thing, and we all know what happened then.
It's OK putting your hands up and admitting that the mistake was his, and that he got it wrong, and my own personal thought on this is that he is arrogant, he cost us the three points lost last night, and he needs to learn from this and not do it again.

It's why Sow didn't play against Birmingham. Why is it so difficult to understand?

You said yourself different players need different management. Sabri might have said, go home, spend a few days with your families. He has mentioned the need for time off football before, if that is beneficial for results is debatable. Whether those 3 were fit to go on the bench we will probably know when we see the team selection on Saturday. |
