Middlesbrough - Nottingham Forest

I agree. But that's why he should have started tonight. Middlesbrough don't play with the same physicality so he could have bossed the game and provided far more service for Grabban than any of the other midfield.

At the end of the day it is 2 points dropped. Boro were there for the taking and if we had lofty ambitions we should not be accepting a point. That we are grateful for a point just tells us how terrible forest were

We have to improve v Millwall -

Diakhaby is another Dias and I’d rather not see him again in a Forest shirt to be frank.

Good last 20 and consolidates us in a playoff spot.
I think comparing Diakhaby to any other footballer is an insult. I can quite simply say I have seen nothing from him that suggests he brings anything to the side.
No wonder Huddersfield were bottom when he was in the side. It's like playing with 10 men and giving the opposition an additional player as well.

It's as if Dumitru has come back in disguise

2 very poor sides!
Carvalho was the shining light - must play instead of Yates on Friday.

V angry here. Fumung at the performance and the manager's selection which was wrong again.

Eveyone can see yates is adding nothing at the moment. We had no quality in the middle of the pitch. Things started to happen as soon as Carvalho came on and just started to pop a pass around, play a decent set play, beat a man etc. Just good decent things which were lacking before.

Carvalho has started just 2 games all season as a 10 ( without Silva in the side ).
We took 6 points from those games.
Play him.

Spot on. Agree with every word. He's a liability in our half, has zero composure, zero skill, can't pass just hits and hopes, has pace but doesnt use it as he runs offside. If he continues to play the players just wont pass to him in the end.

I would normally agree and I thought he changed the game tonight but the one game I wouldnt play Carvalho in is Milwall

Yates scored! The problem isn’t Yates- it’s playing Yates with Watson and samedo. However, I agree carvalho should have started. It’s now March and a bit warmer so he will be our trump card. But I really fear he will start at home v Millwall and get kicked back to benfica.
Also Bostock was very good and has a balance with Watson as left footed. He should have played more games...

Hes got to play on Friday. There is no other option imo. Yates needs to 'have a look at it' as MoN used to say. Silva's going to be a big loss. I bet by the time he's recovered and back match fit and in the groove it'll be the end of the season.

Let’s not let Yates’ goal overshadow another shocking performance.
Though I do agree - Semedo, Yates & Watson in the same X1? Surely contributed to one of our worst 90 minutes of the season.

He looks bulky to me. Wonder if hes got fitness issues and that's what's held him back?

Yates, Watson and Semedo - very samey. We saw it earlier in the season. Sow and Silva offer far more variety.

But if Bostock and Carvalho can start offering more consistently in the last ten games and we get Sow back for the run in we've still got a great chance.

Hopefully Grabban's goal will get him back on a scoring streak
