I can join Joe in expressing my memories and admiration of Ian Moore. I didn't name him as the best striker because i remember that he played mainly on the left wing but you're right that he often came inside typically to cut to the edge of the box and hitting an unstoppable shot. The FA cup quarter final at home v Everton I think in 1967 is still thought by many to be possibly the greatest game ever at the City Ground. His hat trick and amazing third goal in the win is a truly great memory beaten only maybe by Colin Barrett's to knock Liverpool out of the European Cup.

Although I didn’t vote for ISM I did include him in my fantasy 5 a side team - following the tweet by the club over the weekend. Suggest that someone ( Sniff? ) originate a new thread based on that fantasy idea - sorry but ( as ever ) my Luddite tendencies have not allowed me to copy & paste the link.
