Are the first cracks starting to appear since the new owners took over or is it just my imagination?

Possibly most importantly I received a PM from a well respected poster on here claiming that the Marinakis/Karanka relationship is far from great.

I don't know if it's just me but I think that Karanka looks like a man under extreme pressure when he gives his interviews.

He rarely smiles, in fact he looks miserable and as if he's not enjoying it.

Hes got to be top six after 10 games or he's toast imo.

Marinakis clearly doesn't f*** about with managers. AK obviously knows this and is probably feeling the pressure.

Id like to see evidence of some players coached to improvement now rather than team performances improved just by swopping players. Thats the true test of a manager's abilities.

Take Grabban for example, confidence ebbing away after every game. Can AK turn that around?

I wouldn't sell Brereton personally but I don't think it's indicative of any wider problems.

The Mills situation is poor, won't dispute that.

Goncalves is taking longer get up and running than the others.

The season ticket problem again isn't great, but it's an admin issue. Why does it indicate cracks showing?

The one thing that would be concerning is if Marinakis is getting impatient already. Karanka's got his own squad now but he has to have time with them.

Personally I'm not overly concerned. We've made a fair start. Could've been better but definitely could've been worse.

No need to panic just yet.

There are many many areas for improvement on the pitch and off it we are still a work in progress.

Aitor has shown a few similarities to Billy so far in terms of having his favourites.

I do question to signing of Carvalho, that’s no reflection on him, just how the money has been spent and what we could have had to show for it.

It will be interesting to see how we use the Brereton money. If we don’t then that will lie squarely with Marinakis and Co. It still wouldn’t surprise me if we sign Oliveira in his place but equally if we sign Jason Puncheon or Tammy Abraham or someone similar then i’ll be happy.

We need to keep a balanced view, I have lavished nothing but praise on the owners since day one, anyone who knows me will know that.

However, if one or two things are not so rosey then I think we should say it.

Ben will go if he wants to, if the club want him to and if Blackburn offer a ten million plus deal with add ons.

Gary Mills.  Deserves better than an email.  Why didn't they just trial him for the job?

Goncalves didn't close his man for the WBA equaliser.  He is very slight for the Championship.

Season ticket holders.  The club should have given the 'twenty year' seat veterans their seats back and told the new people they sold them to, 'Sorry.  Our mistake.  You can have these instead.' Or given the veteran's their season ticket as a complimentary 'free' for the mistake.  Easy either way.

With respect to our new owner.  I don't think he seems the type to have a great relationship with any manager (judging from his high standards for Olympiacos.)  You either 'do it' or you're out.  We'll see how that works in the Championship.  Aitor is ruthless with players who don't do it.  I'm sure our owners will treat him with the same sword. It's sharp on both sides.

I don't think you're being negative.  It's a point of view that I can see.

We'll know more after 10-15 games.  At the end of the season.  IF they sell Brereton.  £10 million, with add ons?  They get an England international cheaply in my view.  But the club may view it as good business if the money can get stronger midfield options and another good striker to get to the promised land which is more than ten million.

1. Think the Goal is promotion this year, hence sacrifice Brereton, expect a forward incoming, who is up to the job now,
2. Forest don't owe these Legends a job for life, if they are not up to the standard for the job, get the right man in who is.
3. Goncalves, maybe needs more time to settle in, we will see.
4.Do we know the outcome of the situation with the people in question, regarding whether they eventually held their original seat, maybe they were offered a better seat.
5. Maybe the relationship is difficult between Marinakis/Karanka, maybe thats how Marinakis operates, keeps Karanka on his toes.
6. My Personel opinion is it is too early to judge anything at the moment.

Worrying post coming from you Snif...AK has everything he wanted...he must deliver a top 6 finish...football need to improve...not asking for his head yet...but results will justify that...Marinakis is a quite owner but ruthless...
