Top prem clubs have probably decided hes not going to be the next Harry Kane and so have lost interest.

Personal opinion:
I thought Ollie to be over valued at the time & I’m unsure as to the contribution that Brereton can make to our season - would sell @ £10m with the proviso that the money is reinvested.

Agreed PL. He aint going to improve our first team and thats exactly what we need right now. It needs to be accepted that some of our Academy talent will now and again be sold. We have to wheel and deal, such is the size of our club.

Oliver Burke imo would be an awesome signing, in simple terms he could pick the ball up by our corner flag, run the entire length of the pitch and score, maybe this won't happen often but I think he would get us more 'easy' goals, as opposed to 'probing' and ticky tacky stuff, I did think he was exciting and strong and inspired others, a bit like Matty Cash on cocaine, sign him up, this would soften the blow if we lost Ben, I would hate to lose Worrall I think he really should be stay, strong and generally fit and big! :heart:

I really don’t see the point in selling Brereton. Any replacement will cost similar and probably want more in wages. Where would we be better off?

Victor Anichebe is at the Blackburn game tonight. Maybe they're signing him and giving up on Brereton.
