That's a shame if that's true. Will be gutted, the fact he's never included especially the bury game says it all really. But it's football just wish it was the ones we don't want.

Greetings all, just read this thread and getting used to the layout.

Personally, I wish I could be different sometimes and genuinely hope you enjoy the NFFC experience.

However I love the club so much but dislike AK so much, I don't want to upset anyone or seem like a traitor because Forest really do deserve some good times and I would really enjoy being proved wrong.

AK lost me early on, the 10 signings in Jan, 14 so far this window, £25m plus, I won't go on but for me it isn't good.

Maybe I'm just old fashioned or used to being the underdog, taking on and sometimes beating the big team of fancy dans was good enough for me, feels more like malfunctioning football factory than a football club at the moment.

Karanka did catch my attention back when Boro played Arsenal away, Arsenal were top and free scoring, Karanka got an amazing draw and unfortunate not to nick the points, it was a defensive/under dog/david,goliath masterclass but it is about his last 55 games for me.

AK sets up not to lose, he draws a lot, he's won 11 ish out of his last 55 games.

I love the club, NFFC is legendary, it has a rich heritage, I decided early with AK that it will probably be painful and to be honest that is how it feels, I am hurting, I pray I get proven wrong and he comes good but Boro were a £50m side with expensive loans, he ultimately had to leave for a reason.

I think "the cracks" were always there, but a lot of fans just repeated the Fawaz beginning with delusions of perfection. I'm in no way comparing EM to Fawaz, they are 2 different people, but they are people, imperfect humans, who like the rest of us, get something's right, & other times make mistakes.

IMHO we need to get over this deification of owners (& managers) & start being more sensible, praising when praise is earned & due, but alert & watchful at other times.

So far with the new regime there have been mistakes & there will be other mistakes in the future, but on balance they appear to be learning & getting more right than wrong, however vigilance should be eternal.

I agree with you NG3. anytime there is a new signing they are messi . Nobody can say anything negative either though it may be true.

I don’t think Marinakis has much to do with the day to day running of the club at all so I can’t see how he’d talk much to AK in the first place for there relationship to break down. AK is probably looking unhappy after the games because he is unhappy with our performances. We’re still making the same mistakes of last season at the back and our new forward players aren’t creating much at all.

I can see what people are getting when they are critical of Aitor.

However, I can see with signings and the performance vs WBA he's out to prove his critics wrong.

Signings.  Ten in January.  13 this Summer.  Astonishing business by the club.

However, some will work out, some won't.  Some will hit the ground running and some won't.

Injuries, fitness and loss of form play their part as well as adapting to a new team or squad and a new manager.  Who'd have thought Dawson would be benched so soon?  Or Os' would still be lb after signing jack?

We can only go on what we see match to match.  After ten matches or half a season we'll have a clearer picture of how the season is shaping up.

not sure ive ever seen AK look particularly happy! the key early in the season is to be in the mix. which we are. need to keep in the mix and then kick on around christmas.
