I think so.  13 signings this window sucggests recruitment for a quality squad.  Now we need to put quality in a few areas where Forest are a little short of quality competition. 5 games in and there's 1 goal from a striker.  

There's not a lot of competition in this area.  If Soudani is playing as part of the midfield then we have Grabban and Murphy.

That means Aitor has only brought in one striker..as such.

Need another quality striker.

I honestly think we are worrying about a position that shouldnt be a problem. Grabban will score given the correct supply, make no mistake about that. Hes done it everywhere hes gone. Our problems are central midfield, we need to be controlling games better than we are at the moment. For me, if we are firtunate enough to get ridiculous money for Brereton then thats where we should spend it.

And Grabban can stay fit for all season and play every game?

If not sell B.B. and we only have 35 year old Murphy, who is well past his sell by date and himself not got a great record of fitness

We also have soudani who’s supposed best position is right wing despite the fact I’m fairly sure he played as a striker previously

So, we have Grabban, Murphy and Soudani (who CAN play the strikers role) hence Brereton is 4th choice.

With that in mind, is it possible that Brereton's replacement is already at the club?

Good thought Sniffer but from what I’ve seen of Gomis I’m not sure he’s anything special.
