Other than that they have been really good and we have been better for them.
Even that I am not sure if you can blame EM and Co although everybody does.
I am sure that Sabri said he was happy with his squad and he was very mindful about players coming in and upsetting the changing room etc etc. He said that, I remember it very clearly he didn't really want to sign any players. He was very happy with what he had and he was very happy with the spirit in the dressing rooom.
Not long after that Covid came along and after the restart we were found wanting. Our owners fault? Not in my view.
So no blame attached to signings like Diakhaby & Bong?
Modesto not our owners surely?

Don’t care who to blame Sniff - let’s just say the club f***d up.

As someone who works in a position of management you understand that the book stops with you as owner of forest em is, overall responsible for what happens at nffc both on and off the pitch.
Em reacted to last season by bringing in experienced players. He took responsibility for last seasons mistakes and the changes to transfer policy (whether you agree with the number of signings or no) show this. Em took responsibility and ensured a change was made.
Now, although em doesnt directly impact what happens on the pitch he is responsible for the coaches position. He has a choice to make now... keep sabri or get rid. Either way we will support. If em sticks with sabri and the worst happens (we end up relegated... I dont think It would get that bad) em will be responsible for not removing the coach... even if the chairman is responsible for the task em is responsible for making sure his job is done correctly. If forest get promoted it will all be because of the input of em.
This window is down to EMS talks over the summer and on the whole we think we have made some good signings. However, the fact we still dont have a winger that the manager has said he wants will leave us unbalanced this is something that needs to be addressed. Em may not make the signings but he should he asking if we have signed 12 players why is a winger not one...
Maybe there is a different plan
Maybe sabri is going and they dont want to bring in another one of his players.
I'm not knocking em atball here just suggesting that the actions of this club over the next few weeks are his responsibility and will.make or break this season

I suspect vrentzos is just concerned with the bottom line of finance and ensuring we adhere to FFP. He does this whilst trying to give the club the best possible squad for the coach but leaves that to others. There have apparently been approaches for his services from the PL!

Danny Taylor's recent set of tweets don't make great reading. I don't know him personally but he doesn't seem the type to me to have an agenda - he is a Forest fan after all.
I hope Chris Hughton is afforded the opportunity to get the best out of the squad he inherits and I sincerely hope the ownership can deliver on the promises they've made.

I agree SR the comments coming from DT are certainly very worrying. He never seems to be the sort of journalist with an axe to grind, something or someone has really annoyed him.
I hope this negativity doesn’t affect the new Manager who has a massive job in front of him and needs all the support he can get.

Whether it is or not, hopefully he, Vrentzos and whoever else will concentrate on the off-the-field business and let Hughton concentrate on the football.

Lost all respect for D. Taylor after this.
No need to wash the dirty laundry in public and his timing his very strange.
Then people wonder why our owners don't give interviews and communicate.
