For anyone listening to that interview, were there any searching questions about interference in team selection, autonomy over transfers Etc? Or the usual general stuff?
Even if there were tough questions CH is far too experienced to get dragged into it but just wondering if they were asked.

Nope. It was just a favour to his mate on TalkSport - nothing resembling any controversy.
Bland would be the word I’d use to describe it.

Thats what I thought, a few Forest fans are working themselves to a lather at the moment but the rest of the football world shrugs its shoulders and says get on with it.
Have a good feeling about CH, as has been said he is an intelligent bloke and will have accepted the job with his eyes open.

Love that ^^
that'll do, i shouldn't of read that other article, lower end fighting for ya lives in the prem is never easy, I know CH is a really decent guy and he has been on the receiving end of some rough justice over the years, fighting for promotion, getting promotion, fight up hill against the odds in the PL and then getting the sack for over achieving and sacrificing himself for the cause, and despite all that being extremely decent and respectable in interviews

CH’s first training highlights released looks like he drilled the defence and center mids exclusively (not surprised) in the first session. Both Portuguese defenders taking part and not training away (doesn’t mean they’re staying I know) a lot of focus on early passes forward and tempo I’d hope! Some players not present but I think that’s everyone who’s international duty.

Happy with CH as manager, vid is a good watch.
I think we now need to stick with him and give him all the support he needs, both from us fans, and the owners with the right transfers (and leaving team to him).
His 1st team selection is going to be very interesting indeed.

Nothing in my book. It replaced 4-4-2 as the standard tactic which most teams used 30-40 years ago, so most players these days have been brought up on 4231 and will be most familiar with it.

Just in case people haven’t seen it, Paul Trollope has been announced as Hughton’s number 2.

He was waiting for the right club and right job to come along before he took another job.
That job is with Nottingham Forest, EM and Vrentzos.
Read into that whatever you like!
I didn't have to think twice about coming here once I was asked. It's an absolute privilege to work for this football club - Chris Hughton.
I bet Taylor was gutted when he heard that.
