Nottingham Forest - Blackburn Rovers

Tree
To be played on Wednesday 18 August 2021.

At The World Famous City Ground.

Kick Off: 19:45.

1) The biggest questions for CH - does he drop Taylor and go with Grabban?
2) Will he bring back Mighten?
3) Will be drop floppy hands Samba?
4) Will he throw a wild card in like Back or Fornah?

My Team:

            Samba
Gabriel  Figs  McKenna  Tutu
     Colback   Yates
   Lolley  Johnson  Zincs
           Grabban

I would probably say the answer should really be yes to all those questions. (Fornah not Back)

Must be tempted to start Carv too just to get a reaction from the fans.

In reality I reckon your team will be right except Mighten will come back in.

I'm sorry but I can't see past the constant use of Yates and colback in the middle. That has such an impact on the team and how they play.

I don't think he is capable of changing the system at all is he. He isn't going to ay carv.

I would take Johnson out and bring him on in the second half... with CH in charge that would be about 85 minutes.

Johnson whilst having bags of ability did very little in the Bournemouth game and nothing in the 2nd half against cov.

For me lolley also has to come out of the team. He has been awful in both games.

My team

Hoath
Gabriel Figs mckenna tutu
Yates fornah
Mighten carv zinc
Taylor

I go with Taylor as the slight more mobile option but part of me would rather see Swan start.

do kind of want to see what Horvath can offer in a proper match i must say. But blackburn like to cross balls into box and Samba is good and coming for those crosses.

Not that it matters and sure its miles off what CH will do but I'd go:

Samba (no more crap goals please)

Tutu McKenna Figs (by default) Colback

Zink Yates Fornah or Johnson Lolley

Carvhalho

Taylor

Mighten possibly for Lolley, but with such ineffective fullbacks, I don't go for the inverted winger crap. Left footer on left, Right footer on right to get the crosses on Taylors head.

Our side does look very lightweight though, so I get CH thinking with Colback/Yates even if I'm unsure about it.

Exactly the team to go with tomorrow night. Not a chance though.

I think I'd pick Johnson in there instead of Mighten, either play him up top or not at all. Also Horvath.

If ever there was a time to give Carvalho a start, midweek at home to Blackburn after a home loss is that time. Depends if he does the say as MoN and rejects the crowd pressure or leans into it. Easy choice for me, either he's great then we win or he's rubbish then everyone will stop clamouring for him to start again!
