Whenever a team is riding high on confidence, the one opponent that loves to kick you in the nuts and bring you back down to earth is Millwall. That said Im sure Steve will have the players up for it every bit as much as on Sunday.

The old rules regarding Forest don't apply any more.
Steve Cooper is slayer of hoodoos and curses. It's a 'must win' to get the Play Off campaign back on track. We've added a bit of 'tasty' in defence and attack. Just in time for the Millwall clash. The FA Cup win over Arsenal will have instilled greater confidence. With the recent 3 signings and the retention of Spence, I'm more confident that Forest can go up against teams and get the 3 points. SA.

For me the only question is Davis or Grabban to start?
I think the rest picks itself for now. Lionel to be on the bench.

Yeah the defence did do well but Colback isn't going to play LWB all season. Got to switch back at some point, I'd do it now, no midweek game. No idea if Lowe is anywhere near fitness of course but if not would put Layrea in. Tough call on Grabban/Davis, maybe Millwall is a good game for Davis? However Grabban played well vs Arsenal off the bench and should probably be rewarded with a start. Samba Worrall McKenna Cook Spence Lowe/Layrea Colback Yates Garner Johnson Grabban It's pretty nice actually having decent options now! I've just excluded Zinc and Davis, plus one of Layrea and Lowe.

I would go with
Samba Spence Laryea McKenna Cook Worrall Yates Colback Garner Johnson Grabban

Be a bit of a culture shock for Laryea at Millwall also a bit harsh to drop Zinc.

Agreed, it's going to happen at some point. Colback may have defended well against Arsenal at LWB but he doesn't offer the same attacking threat we have on the other flank. |
