Assume this little number is on Sky ? I still remember the torrid experience of this fixture at home and I hope we can stand up against the long ball/physical nature of their approach.

I think we've come along way from that (it was CH's last if i recall). We coped with Millwall so we should be able to deal with a poor cardiff side. Traditionally this is the exact type of game that forest come undone in but cooper has seemingly overcome that so far and our record agaist teams in tge bottom half is pretty strong. Heres hoping that carries on this sunday

Keifer Moore likely to be gone, or on the verge of going on Sunday so probably wont play. Remember how him entering the field as a sub at the home game gave our players the shits? The way the fortunes of the two sides have changed since is incredible.

One of those players who haunts Forest. SA.

Cardiff are on a terrible run, and conceding goals, Cooper will be the master of setting up a game plan to exploit that and target the tight players that we will have success against.
I hope Cardiff play a 3, Morrison and Flint have zero pace between them and we will be abke to get down the sides and around the back of them for sure.

Wonder if Figs might feature in a 3. He's the master at heading and kicking it, which used to be a big part of their game. I dont know if it still is? Actually, what has happened to their form? Why are they so rubbish atm?

Since Morrison has taken over they have tried to control possession a bit more which is probably why they are struggling a bit as they do not have the players to do it so are relying on blooding youngsters. They are less direct than they were at the city ground. Will be an interesting game. They lack creativity for sure. They are hoping to get Ryan Giles back which will ease that a bit, but as I mentioned earlier in the week, I had been told we had also made an approach too. Not sure how reliable that is though. |
