Simple question in advance of tonight, if you could either get to the FA cup semis ie winning tonight and against Liverpool. Or make the top 6 which would you choose?
In this scenario, top 6 you have a 1 in 4 chance of promotion. FA cup semi final, you also arguably have a 1in 4chance or winning it. Although obviously it's a lot less than that as would be against Man City or Chelsea probably.

Has to be play offs every time although the fact that it is exactly 30 years since we played at Wembley or made a major final is embarrassing, I believe just a handful of L2 clubs now have a worse record than us.

That is true SM but I'd rather not played there at all than to have played in the Johnstone Plaint

I've gone play-offs. It has to be. 1 in 4 chance of getting promoted against teams who we have a realistic chance of beating.
Although if we got to the fac semi final it would mean we will have beaten Arsenal, Leicester and Liverpool. That's not too shabby.
I'd take getting done by Hudders tonight and then beating them in the play-off final.
As I've said on here before, I'll take no pleasure in getting stuffed by the scousers.

It was only meant to be reach playoffs as opposed to win playoffs FYI.
