Permanent Signings - Are They As Good As Our Loans?

I know its too early to say and all that, but I wondered if anyone had any 'genuine' information as to how the new/young signings we've made are viewed by the club now they are here, because we havent seen much of a few of them.

I ask because whilst our loanees are obviously all contributing to the first team, if/when they leave they will need to be replaced by these players (or more new signings) for next season eg laryea and panzo for Spence and Lowe, Ojeda for Garner, and so on.

Surridge has come in and looks like a bargain in the making, and Silva shows some progress so we could assume he's buckled down in training to impress, but we haven't seen or heard from several other young players and I wondered if they are a step up or a step down.

Im particularly thinking of 

Silva
Ojeda
Laryea
Panzo
Mbe Soh

There are also some home grown players to add into the mix, such as Fornah perhaps, so out of interest I wondered if there were any whispers from the training ground.....

It's hard to evaluate without knowing what happens in training, but it's a great problem to have. The team is playing so well that, barring injuries or suspensions it's picking itself. It's not going to be easy for anyone to break into the starting XI.

Hopefully they'll all have the attitude that Cafu and to some degree Silva have had. Whenever they've had some minutes they've tried their hardest to contribute.

Why? Cafu's never let anyone down. He even did well under Hughton. When he comes on in games he generally makes a difference. Hes ok.

That wasn't a criticism of Cafu at all, he's solid and reliable I agree. My point was more we know his level already, he's consistent but has a low ceiling. My point was more it was disappointing that Ojeda is now ranked lower than him, implying Ojeda is considered worse. I would hope he'd be able to reach the same level already.

I dont want to beat the lad up but Odeja was neat and tidy but never really pulled any trees up. His time will come.

I was genuinely excited when we signed Richie and whilst I offer no criticism (you can't really now!) of management I am baffled that we haven't yet seen him pull on the Garibaldi. Soon hopefully.
