Best Season Of My Lifetime

As an early 30s (ish) aged Forest fan, the competition for this award hasn't exactly been high. However, the promotion against Yeovil from League One has finally been bettered. 

I just wanted to say my thanks to the entire team and manager. 

Samba - apologies for doubting you, thanks for turning up in the playoffs
Lowe - Thanks for an excellent contribution, you're welcome back next season.
Worrall - Thanks for giving us one more year, I think it was worth it
McKenna - Thanks for giving us the chance to further your career and please stick around for a few more years.
Cook - Thanks for being one of our best ever free signings, now let's go and get revenge on Bournemouth next year.
Spence - whether or not you end up back here, thanks for an incredible season, I will be following your career with pride. That said f**k Spurs, come back home! 
Colback - As a firm backer of yours thanks for making me look like I knew what I was talking about a few years ago and for staying fit and proving how good you still were. Also thanks for so willingly playing LWB!
Yates - Thanks for finally working out how to score, looking forward to sneaking you into my fantasy teams next year! 
EDIT (2) Garner - I love you, please forgive me! Hopefully you can take the tough decision to assess that Forest is the place to provide the best chance to further your career.
Zinc - Thanks for the ridiculous amount of effort you put in to every game, it was noticed and I hope Watford still don't see your value so you can stay here.
Johnson - Just sign the f*****g contract! Seriously though, already a club legend, chance to cement yourself up there with Psycho et al and overtake your dad! 
Davis - Thanks for the giving us the chance to build your career, I look forward to seeing you back next year.

Surridge - Thanks for the amazing effort put in despite not starting straight away and for being really good at shooting.
Lolley - thanks for all the service over the years and loyalty. Maybe reconsider future opportunities to take penalties though.
Figs - Thanks for sticking around for another year, your loyalty and hard work has been rewarded.
Cafu - Thanks for your enthusiasm and proving that  was right and you are a penalty specialist.
Taylor - thanks for Bristol City away.
Grabban - Thanks for the long term service and underrated work ethic you've put in over the years.
Horvath - Thanks for the quality showed when you stepped in and for pushing Samba, more of the same next year.

Mighten/Ojeda/Layrea/Silva/anyone else I've missed, thanks for the positivity and exuberance provided.

Edit (Oops) - Cooper - Marry me! Seriously, you have a job for life in my opinion, my girlfriend knows where she stands in the pecking order now.
Marinakis - Thanks for saving our club and for how you've handled the club over the years. I cannot more highly praise the willingness to learn from your mistakes and the restructure has gone better than we really could've imagined. 
Marinakis (jr) - Thanks for getting involved, you're a Forest man now. 
Murphy - Thanks for Spence, Garner, Davis, Cook, Lowe, Zinc. I would that was an acceptable first season.

Yeah, Figs can end his time at Forest knowing that he played an incredible role in the march to the Premier League, it has been tough for him at times and he no doubt has added to his worth when he departs on a free. We could not have made it without him.

Not being funny here but lets not forget Vrentzos he played a part too. He had to make some tough decisions to sell Matty Cash etc and the money we received was not always used wisely etc but he did however sign many of the player's who have been involved in our promotion winning team like Samba, Mckenna, Colback, Figs, Garner, Zinc (just before he left it was arranged), Cafu, Grabban, Lolley. He even renewed the contracts of Yates and Worrall I think and not forgetting that he hand picked his successor Dane Murphy. So lets give him a bit of credit too.

Sure, I will thank everyone! Thanks IV, for fixing our club and setting us up for this season. Thanks for maximising the sale of Cash, thanks for keeping us away from FFP failure, thanks for rebuilding the structure of the club when it was at its lowest. Thanks for McKenna, possibly our best permanent signing since Antonio?! Thanks for stepping aside at the right moment to allow the next phase of the ownership to begin. 

Although to balance it out, you won't like it, but thanks to DT for calling out the issues that were at the club and using your platform at the Athletic to promote change at the club. We're lucky because other clubs wouldn't have that opportunity and change may take longer or happen when it's too late. (For all we know it had no impact or loads of impact but either way I appreciate it)

The most remarkable turnaround ever. Cooper has magic in him - he is a winner. It has been amazing and to see it all unfold an absolute pleasure. To share it with my lad - priceless.

I want to write a special mention to the players who did not get to play in every game, who spent the season working hard on the training ground, waiting patiently on the bench for their name to be called, "you're up".
Everyone of you has contributed to this moment, be it support of those on the field or delivering on the pitch when you were needed.
