We could do with giving one or two more their own thread I feel, will start with Neco who on evidence to date is my new favourite player. No he aint Spence but it seems to me if he doesn’t have as much pace he has a bit more quality and more to his game.

Anyhow its not just me. He just made team of the week from Europes top 5 leagues. Just have a look at the names on this team with him.

Very impressive on Saturday. He was good defensively and carried the ball well going forward. You can see he is used to playing at the higher level. During the game I said to my lad that I thought he was our best player on the day and that he will be a huge asset.

Different player to Djed and it will be unfair to compare them.

Definitely doesn't have Spence's pace or ball-carrying ability, but perhaps doesn't need to as he can deliver such a good ball from deep.

I thought his reading of the game was very good. There was one point in the first half where he got out of position and the shammers got behind him. He started to move more central, intercepted and carried the ball out of defence on the left hand side. Very impressive recovery and looks comfortable on the ball.

His Brain is up there with a Liverpool player he's been learning from the best right back in the world and it shows.

He's going to be some player, great signing.

Not sure he has ever been a regular set piece taker, a bit harsh to criticise.
The problem is the lack of someone to take a free kick or corner seems to be something we haven’t addressed.

I'm not knocking Neco but Toffolo has been instrumental in both Forest's goals this season.
Both involved him taking the ball into the box, drawing defenders and laying off.
He created the space for Johnson to move into on Saturday and also the space for Lingard to square to Yates and Yates to shoot with the defence in disarray.

If I was to pick my favourite wing back it would have to be the one creating goals at the moment

Do we have to have favourites though? Both doing a decent job in very different ways.

Can he? I thought his final ball deliveries, crossing and shooting last night against Fulham was shocking.

Last 2 games he has been poor agreed. But I refer you to the opening post of the thread, I reckon he is quality.

I posted that after the first couple of games when he *was* doing that.

My Fulham supporting mate said in the Summer that he wasn’t good enough for the Prem, I thought he had been our player of the season up until these last three games where he’s been a lot poorer.

He hasn’t had the same support either defensively or offensively that Spence had to be fair
