Wish they'd won at Southampton.

Hopefully still play hard to beat whilst seeing a threat on the break.

My new hero Remo Freuler needs to have another great game-as do the rest!

Given we won......should be same team again........get them to gel more and more.

Need to be better against free kicks.......very poor against Liverpool.

Cant say Im a fan of the zonal marking we do, you have to be very good and communicate well to pull it off. We usually dont.
Having said that we were playing Liverpool who score from set pieces against the best teams in the world. Van Dyk should have scored from the first half one but the one at the end its a bit difficult to mark anybody when the opposition goal keeper is trying an NFL move.

On a positive, set pieces apart Liverpool barely had a chance from open play which is quite remarkable and credit to our midfield and defence for blocking that.

Not giving soft free kicks away in the first place would help a lot.

I think we started season more full man-man, but that was terrible so now doing 50/50 approach. Hopefully they are working hard to get better. I do think a settled team will help.

That's part of the reason they had not many chances in open play though!

Nice to see that Arsenal were well and truly hammered last night.

Freuler more guilty than most on this score Sniff. Needs to be more cute and learn that any contact will mean the oppo player goes over easy.

Refs need to get better at spotting these. There were some horrendous dives from Liverpool that the ref bought and wasn’t consistent when the same happened to our players. Doubt that will change at the emirates either.
One thing related - I have been so impressed with how Yates wins the ball cleanly this year.
