In theory it’s a great time to play both Newcastle and Man Utd.
Unfortunately our confidence right now is shot to pieces and defensively we are a calamity.

We are going down now. We have zero momentum and a very average squad. A manager journeyman and medea throwing players at us. We will go down and save this post.

Perhaps its time for a back 5 and to give Andrew Omobamidele a chance ?
He is tall and can head the ball.........put him in there against Newcastle ???

Sadly I agree. All the signs are there. The luck seems to have turned against us as well. This includes key refereeing decisions in matches which effect the result. These matter when the squad is one of the worst in the division. If Nuno keeps us up he will deserve the same adulation Cooper received because it will be an achievement when so luch seems to be going against us.
I think it's a bit early for that ^^
After Man Utd on Saturday we don't have another PL game for 3 weeks.
The transfer window will be open too.
That is our chance to reset, for Nuno to work with the players and to sort ourselves out.
I expect to see a different Nottingham Forest starting with Brentford away after the restart.

The break comes at a good time for us. Suppose we could say our season starts on January 20th at Brentford. A fit Taiwo with two or three new additions and the new manager having had time to work with his squad.

I’d expect a few complaints for this. Very depressing
