10th. After the start we've had there is no way we are in another relegation battle......surely?

I'm still buzzing from the historic weekend but I'm not  getting carried away just yet.

We need to pick up more goals and wins at home before we significantly move forward, however, with our defence this season id suggest a more comfortable 15/13th.

If we can start putting wins together at home then higher. I think after the Palace game we will have an idea although Leicester and West Ham make up the magic 10 game mark.

Anything around 10th would be excellent and a decent FA cup run maybe the semifinal and a Wembley trip

Think 14th/15th is still likely. Only four games in and a few other mid table teams still finding form. Yet to get that home win or form going yet and that will be the deciding factor on if top half is possible.

Said 16th start of the season and despite a good start not seen enough to change my mind.
Even if Im correct hoping its more part of a tightly packed middle group well clear of the drop rather than goal difference above 18th.

Are we decent at the back? If so I might need to adjust my expectations. Going forward I don't think much has changed, although I like the potential of set piece goals with JWP involved.

I'm going to predict we finish above:

Leicester, Southampton, Ipswich, Everton, one of Wolves/Bournemouth/Brentford so I guess that's 15th.

If the defence is genuinely good there is potential for top 10 though.

If we were genuinely top 10 at xmas, we might actually be able to attract a decent striker. Maybe SM's man will finally sign...

Around 48-50 points required for 10th - 12th place finish based on last 5 seasons.
That feels possible provided we remain mainly healthy.

So 1.3 PPG over a season.
