Their home record is excellent so far but the only team they've played at home who are above them so far is Bournemouth.

We're due a win here.

Whisper it quietly but their setup suits our counter attack and contain tactics perfectly. I wonder if Elanga will be rewarded with a start perhaps in place of CHO to maintain the structure from the last game which was so effective.

Dispels the notion that they've only played easy games though.

GW1: beat palace at home 2-1 GW2: lost to Liverpool 2-0 away GW3: beat Soton at home 3-1
Gw4: lost to Man City away 2-1 GW5: lost to spurs away 3-1 GW6: drew with WHam at home 1-1

West Ham were below Brentford by two places

GW7: beat wolves at home 5-3. Wolves were bottom GW8: lost to Man Utd away 2-1
GW9: beat Ipswich at home 4-3. Ipswich were 8 places below GW10: lost to Fulham away 2-1
GW11: beat B’Mouth at home 3-2. Bournemouth were above them at the time and had just beat Man City
GW12: drew with Everton away GW13: beat Leicester at home 4-1 leicester were 5 places below
GW14: lost to Aston Villa away 4-1 GW15: beat Newcastle at home 4-2 & were 3 places higher.

Newcastle have beat Soton, spurs, wolves, arsenal, us and Leicester. Drew with B’mouth, Man City, Everton, palace and Liverpool. Lost against Fulham, Brighton, Chelsea, West Ham and Brentford. So most probably just the tipsy turvy nature of the league.

So only Bournemouth were higher at the time

Brentford only have 2 draws, there’s no reason we can’t pick up points

They concede a lot of goals, even in matches they have won

I’d be amazed if Nuno dropped CHO after what was probably his best performance since he joined the club.
