We have signed an agreement with an AI Technology provider.

It will offer to Nuno and the staff the best possible data analysis to help better our preparation for matches.

It will help in the way we train and also help in giving tactical information about our opponents etc.

It will also play a part in the prevention of injuries by giving in depth analysis on our players physical conditions etc.

This is very interesting but also very worrying

In theory the only job AI can't do is the job on the players! Won't be long until we see the first AI manager in football

I'm sceptical about AI so I hope the club aren't throwing everything into this. I think there are a lot of people making money off the potential of AI but as of yet, it's delivered hardly anything.

I tried to do an AI mocked up image the other day and the results were complete shite.

No but AI can say someone can play left back when they can't.

Personally I am not a fan of AI generally speaking but if it can help Nuno and his staff to get even better then I am on board with it.

Ai is a useful tool but it needs to be used as a tool along with other sources of data to allow the manager and staff to make informed decisions.

id imagine this would likely be some ML/data modelling type service although to be honest i'm surprised we aren't already doing this with the data generated these days.

It could I suppose be the difference between one point or three.
