At some point we will lose again and come down to earth a bit, just please please don’t let it be on Tuesday.
Yet again first goal is key you would think.

Seeing as Slot still talks about the first match in almost every press conference I imagine he'll have them up for this.

Crowd will be important too as they'll have to stay patient because we won't have a lot of the ball and will be doing a fair bit of defending.

Something like Man City at home in that first season back would be good - the crowd was brilliant that day and eventually got rewarded.

Does anyone else think that the way Liverpool set up and the way they play suits us.

Or is it just me.

I tell myself this too but...

I worry as Slot isn't a mug and we proper Nuno'd them once already. They are pretty devastating themselves on Counter attack, so who knows how this will pan out.  I wouldn't be surprised if they select one of their athletic CBs to play at full back.

I feel a bit guilty as I've really enjoyed the ride these last 4 years, hoping to be in games like this. But for the first time I am ridiculously nervous. I feel like I'm waiting for my driving test. If it goes well the rewards are fantastic, but if it goes wrong, then we have to start again (figuratively)

I can't stomach the thought of losing to them basically. But the win would lift us to a new level.of hope and expectation. That 1000 to 1 bet would suddenly seem like the best £3 I've ever spent......

We're on the piss with Zico if he wins that bet.

It'll fund a Champions league tour as we get that 3rd star.

Jon Brooks. Might as well give them there 3 points now.

Fingers crossed for Tuesday. Liverpool are really good to watch and most people don't fancy our chances, but they didn't back in September either.
If they do scrape a win against us then I hope we draw them in the cup and batter them!

Anyone know why we're playing Southampton on Sunday?
