Got to be right on it for this one. Four points from the two games wouldn't be a bad return at all but if we want to keep fighting for a Champions League place we've got to win games like this.
Our record vs. teams in the bottom half has been pretty spectacular so far this season - that needs to continue.

Nothing less than a win will be acceptable in this game regardless of our own position.
Hopefully Nuno has got them focussed.

‘Top clubs’ would only rest players if they have fixture congestion. Ie teams competing in Europe. We don’t have that, so no need. Also have an extra 48 hours rest than them with Southampton playing tonight.

All the evidence suggests a win. Problem is, it doesn't always work like that. They will probably 'sit in' and allow us more of the ball, which doesn't really suit us. Having said that as others have mentioned, we have a great record against teams in the bottom half.
Maybe i'm just expecting a banana skin at some stage and I hope this isn't the game. Nuno should have them ready and I'm sure there will be no complacency. Hope we don' try the two striker thing again though like we did when Fulham visited.

Definitely a Brucey bonus after the tough Liverpool game that we get a day two extra break and they'll have just been to Old Trafford!

Their possession stats haven’t really changed since the new manager came in.
They still play in a way where they want the ball and to do that, you have to have enough players in advance of the ball. There is no way they park the bus against us

I’d give the cup team a run out…

We need our strongest team out.
We don't have a midweek game so I see no need to be resting players.
