Agendas Against Us Because We Ruffle The Feathers Of The Big Boys

They don't like it do they?

The fact that we threaten the so called big six.

Neville, Parish and now Matteo to name just three.

Certain people who work for SkySports and Talksport etc are at it to.

Newsflash we are here to stay so you better get used to it.

Not only are we here to stay but we are also here to get even better and to take your trophies.

Evangelos Marinakis will chew you up and spit you out, all of you.

I like ruffling some feathers but don't want to be seen as a victim fan base.

There does seem to be inconsistent reporting when it comes to us vs. other teams. Just in the last few days there have been examples of that:

- "Another one" from the @MOTD Twitter feed when we signed someone, even though our number of incomings is lower than many other clubs
- BBC website calling out how much we've spent without showing how much we've recouped for context
- Numerous sources implying we were somehow to blame for Palace's demotion based on a letter which a) they probably haven't even seen and b) was sent at least a week after UEFA were already investigating the situation

I'm sure there are other examples but these ones immediately spring to mind.

We've rocked the boat, and there are clear media agendas and biases against us.

It's so obvious with the treatment we get.

When we got promoted, I think we were expected to be old Forest, a club most people had a soft spot for, do a comeback tour of the Prem, but ultimately roll over, let everyone walk all over us and get relegated like good little boys.

But that changed with the Lingard signing and TalkSport lost their minds. Then the rest of the signings. And then having the nerve to stay up.

But did Ipswich get the treatment we did with all their signings last summer? Nope.
Are Sunderland being treated the way we were (and still are!)? No way.

Did anyone leap to our defence during the points deduction saga?

Now, we're the bad guys in Steve Parish's failure to check his email and understand the rules. That idiot on Sky Sports was a shameless disgrace of a "journalist" this summer. Practically crying about the Palace situation & placing the blame squarely at our feet.
We held MGW hostage according to some in the press.
The BBC always have a dig about us, and no other clubs.
Sky too.
And now this morning, after one of the biggest signings the club has ever made, a journo in Italy has been fed something by someone to stir things.

Unless it's Percy, we hardly ever get a positive mention. If you look hard enough, though, Henry Winter is very complimentary about us, and especially Nuno. Seb Hutchinson (Sky comms) always speaks highly of us. And to be fair, Simon Jordan has been very diplomatic about the Palace/us stuff this summer - he said we benefited, but by no means was any of this our doing.

But on the whole, we're big spending "grasses" and our owner is made out to be the pantomime villain.

It used to upset me. But now it just makes me think, if they hate us so much, we must be doing something right. If they don't like us, f*ck 'em!

I'm proud Marinakis is our owner.
I'm proud Nuno is the manager.
I'm proud of the squad we have.
I'm proud we're in Europe.
I'm proud we've rocked the top 6 & they aren't happy.
I'm proud we won't roll over when other clubs, the Premier League or media outlets try to push us around.

I'm proud to be a Nottingham Forest supporter.

Exactly the space I'm in. This football club is steaming on in the right direction and I love the fact we are rolling over people as we go.

I like the last paragraph if they hate us so much we must be doing something right.

This is so true, if we've upset the big 6 cartel then we must be on to a winner as they are only out for themselves.

I wonder if following our victory against the FA and them having to pay us compensation if some of this will stop now.

Neville also been silenced.

Other clubs have reportedly written to us asking for detaila of the case too.

:Funny:

I kinda hope we sort things out with Neville. He picked us as his outside team to reach Europe again. A bit of backing down on both sides and it should be resolved. He made his point and we have too - no need for it to linger in my opinion.
