Cheating

Interesting question: roles reversed from last night of a Forest player cheated to score. How would we feel? Would they be praised? Considered a hero? Or vilified? Can’t see us booing them personally.

I think I would be happy we scored probably find it quite funny but also not be overly impressed.

Wouldnt give it a sec o nd thought. We'd be saying we dominated and we deserved some luck.

Yes I would think that most fans would say we've had the rub of the green.... for a change!

Knowing our luck, if it was Grabban, the goal would’ve been disallowed and he’d have got a second yellow card for deliberate handball...

Cheating pure & simple.
Waiting for the EFL to retrospectively charge Roofe - not holding my breath!

I will be amazed if we hear anymore about it.

We have to try and forget it and move on and stay focused on the bigger picture.

What really p****d me off was the way that Roofe celebrated the 'goal' after he knew that he had just deliberately cheated. Disgusting.

That's what happens when you have spoiled, indulged players who've rarely heard the word 'no' and have no moral fibre.

Disgrace.

That handball was outrageous.  Should have asked the cameras for a replay.  Sky were there?

'it's up to the ref' to give it or not.'

Huh.

That about sums up the player who says that...no moral back bone.

SA.

In an age of shirt pulling, diving and big wages for 'working class heroes' what do we expect?

That should be retro-actively punished.

Do we want honesty in the game or not?

I do think there should be retrospective punishment in such a blatantly obvious violation. Won't be though, never is. We have to move on.

Cheating sadly is becoming part of the game. Time wasting is my pet hate.

What really annoys me is refs let teams get away with cheating but if a defender puts in a good honest tackle the whistles blown straight away.

Last night was a disgrace to football. Really was.

Deliberate handball is a booking so he should have been booked and goal disallowed.
